HA LONG BAY ISLANDS
Day1: Hanoi – Ha Long – Cat Ba Island (L)
We travel by road (170 km) from Hanoi to Ha Long City. Upon arrival, embark on our boat for a cruise on the emerald water of Ha Long Bay listed as World Heritage site to Cat Ba Island. Tour the magnificent caves; enjoy the fresh local seafood before docking on Cat Ba Island. After checking into our hotel in CatBa Town, we travel to Cat Ba National Park (you need hiking shoes and mosquito repellent). Take a hiking tour to the Horse-Saddle Peak to adore the panoramic view of Cat Ba Island. Then we descend the mountain and travel back to Cat Ba Town visiting the once Military Hospital Cave on the way back. Overnight in Cat Ba Town.
Day2: Cat Ba – Hai Phong - Hanoi (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
You have free time hanging around the beaches in the morning. In the afternoon, we board the local ferry (or hydrofoil) back to Hai Phong City where we rejoin the car for 2 hour journey back to Hanoi.
