Population:  14,978 people (as of 1999)

Locality:  Lam Dong and Binh Thuan Provinces. 

Customs and culture
The Chu Ru worship their ancestors and follow monogamy. Matriarchy is dorminant in the Chu  Ru Society.

Culture:  Austronesian Group.
 
Dress:  The women attire consists of a shirt, a skirt and a sheet of cloth wrapped around the front.

Economy:
The Chu Ro developed advanced skills for farming from the ancient time.
