Population: 92,451 people (as of 1999)
Locality: Mainly in Dak Lak, Lam Dong and Binh Phuoc Provinces.
Customs and culture
The village chief plays a major role in village life and normally is selected naturally with respect from the community in the daily life.
The Mnong is a matriarchal society with the women take charge of family work and the children take the family name of the mother.
Language: M'Nong language belongs to the Mon-Khmer Group.
Dress:
Men wear loincloths and women wear ankle-long skirts.
Economy:
The M'Nong practise slash-and-burn farming. Some M'Nong Communies are famous for elephant-domesticating and training.
