Detailed itinerary

Day 1 Arrive at Luang Phabang (PG 630: 1350-1520) That Luang in Vientiane, Laos

Take the flight from Bangkok to Luang Phabang, the Royal Capital City of Laos. Arriving at Luang Phabang Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our tour guide and escorted to the town. We’ll have an oriented walking tour of Luang Phabang – A World Heritage Site.

Day 2 Luang Phabang – Pak Ou Cave – Luang Phabang (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Our morning tour is for the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Then we’ll take the boat trip to Pak Ou cave on the Mekong River to visit the mysterious Cave Pagoda. Thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues are crammed into the two caves carved out of a towering limestone cliff. The pagoda is the destination for many of Laos Buddhist Pilgrims during the festival time. Then we continue our tour to a riverside village where rice wine is produced before heading back to town.

Day 3 Luang Phabang – Vientiane (QV104: 1440-1520) (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, we’ll tour Vat Xieng Thong, Vat Sen, Vat Visun and Mount Phousi with panoramic views. Then we’ll continue with a visit to Kaungsi waterfall, the weaving village (Phanom), Xangkhong where traditional Lao textiles are woven on ancient wooden looms.

In the afternoon, we’ll travel back to Luang Phabang Airport for the flight to Vientiane. Arriving in Vientiane, you’ll be welcomed at the airport by our tour guide and transferred to the hotel.

Day 4 Vientiane (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Starting the tour of Vientiane with Vat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, Vat Prakeo, Vat Simuang, the That Luang Monument and Vientiane’s Arc de Triomphe, the Patouxai Monument. And then we’ll visit a state-owned workshop producing ceramics, woodcarving, bronze and copper works as well as traditional Lao musical instruments.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit Vat Simuang with its famous stone column that marks the spot where the city of Vientiane was founded. Continue to the National Museum which documents the history of Laos. We’ll have time for strolling along the breezy Mekong River bank or sipping cold beer on the riverfront before travelling back to the hotel.

Day 5 Vientiane - Phnom Penh (QV 841: 1010 - 1140) (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
You have free time at leisure until we transfer you to the airport for the flight to Phnom Penh – The Kingdom of Cambodia. Arriving at Phnom Penh International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our tour guide and escorted to the city. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace, the National Museum and have a walk on the Mekong River Bank.

Day 6 Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (FT 992: 0955-1040) (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast at hotel, we’ll have a transfer to the domestic airport for flight Phnom Penh - Siem Reap. Upon arriving at the airport, we’ll start the discovery of the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Elephants Terrace, and Terrace of the Leper King and Ta Prohm temple. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the much celebrated Angkor Wat until sunset.

Day 7 Siem Reap (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
Our tour goes on with a scenic trip through the countryside of Siem Reap to Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. Then we’ll continue the discovery to Kravan, Pre Rup, Mebon Oriental, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan Temples.
In late afternoon, climb Phnom Bakheng Hill for adoring sunset.

Day 8 Departure (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
