The tour starts in Siem Reap, gateway to the Temples of Angkor and concludes in Luang Phabang, the Royal Capital City of Laos. The trip covers 5 World Heritage Sites which are the Temples of Angkor, Hoi An Old Town, Hue Imperial Citadel, Ha Long Bay and Luang Phabang Royal Capital City.

Detailed itinerary

Day1 Arrive in Siem Reap (no meal)

Arriving at Siem Reap, welcomed at the airport by our tour guide and transferred to the hotel.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day2 Siem Reap (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning tour of Angkor Thom: the South Gate and the enigmatic Bayon Temple in the center of Angkor Thom.
Walking tour further to the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, Royal Enclosure and the Phimeanakas.
Travel back to Siem Reap for refreshment.

Afternoon tour of the celebrated Angkor Wat. Have 2 to 3 hours for a guided tour, including free time to explore the upper levels of the Angkor Wat Temple.

Late afternoon, travel to Phnom Bakheng to climb to the hilltop temple for the stunning sunset view over the countryside and Angkor Temples.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day3 Siem Reap – Sai Gon (VN828:1820-1920)(B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Take a long morning tour through the countryside to visit Banteay Srey with some of the most impressive deep sculptures, continue onto Banteay Samre.

In the afternoon, take a trip to visit Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm (embraced by roots and creepers) and Takeo, then travel back to Siem Reap Airport for the flight to Saigon. Meet the tour guide in Saigon and travel to the hotel.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight in Saigon.

Day4 Sai Gon City Tour (½ day)/Free afternoon(B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the War Remnants Museum, Binh Tay market (located in the heart of China town) and Thien Hau pagoda. The Reunification Palace reminds us some historical memories of the past. We will drive around to the Emperor of Jade Temple, the Cathedral, the General Post Office, the Municipal Theater which was formerly the Parliament Building, then travel back to the hotel.

Have the afternoon relaxing at our own pace.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight in Saigon.

Day5 Sai Gon – Da Nang – Hoi An (VN324:1120-1230)/Free at leisure(B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Free at leisure until having a transfer back to the airport for the flight to Da Nang. Meet the tour guide in Da Nang and travel to Hoi An Ancient Town. After checking into the hotel, we’ll have relaxing free time.

Day6 Hoi An - Hue(B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Travel through the countryside to Hue Imperial City.
Arriving in Hue, check into the hotel and have time for refreshment. In the afternoon, have a cruise on the scenic Perfume River to visit the heavenly Thien Mu Pagoda and King Tu Duc’s Tomb.
Travel back to the hotel and have free time.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight in Hue.

Day7 Hue – Ha Noi (VN244:1440-1550)(B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Have a tour of Hue Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba Market. Then have time for refreshment.
In the afternoon, we’ll transfer you back to Phu Bai Airport for your flight to Hanoi, the Capital City of Vietnam. On arrival, meet our tour guide and travel to the hotel.
Free time at leisure.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day8 Ha Noi City Tour (1/2 Day)/Free afternoon(B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Our morning tour starts with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace; this whole area reminds you some parts of the Vietnamese history and the most revered man of the nation. Then we’ll visit the Temple of Literature which was 1st University of Vietnam, and the Ngoc Son temple. We’ll have a walking tour of the Old Quarter and free time for shopping in the narrow hustling bustling streets of the Old Town which dates back to the 11th century.

In the afternoon, enjoy free time at your own pace.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day9 Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Travel by private car for 170 km(3.5 hours) from Ha Noi through the heart of the Red River Delta where you will see many farmers tilling their green fields to Ha Long City.

Upon arrival, we board our private boat for 5 hour cruise on the pristine emerald water of Ha Long Bay. The cruise brings us through many green limestone islands which offer hidden caves. We enjoy the local fresh seafood for lunch on board the boat, then join our car for the trip back to Ha Noi.
Enjoy free time at leisure.

Day10 Ha Noi - Vientiane (VN841:0825-0930)/Vientiane - Luang Phabang (QV103: 1700-1740) (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Arriving at Vientiane Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to the city of Vientiane. Starting the tour of Vientiane with Vat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, Vat Prakeo, Vat Simuang, the That Luang Monument and Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe, the Patouxai Monument. And then we’ll visit a state-owned workshop producing ceramics, woodcarving, bronze and copper work as well as traditional Lao musical instruments.

In the afternoon, transfer back to the airport for the flight to the Royal Capital of Luang Phabang, a World Heritage Site.

Overnight in Luang Phabang.

Day12 Depart Luang Prabang (B)
