THE NORTH-EAST LOOP TOUR

Hanoi-BaBe-CaoBang-LangSon

 

Day1: Hanoi-BaBe

Drive   270 km from (7 hours) Hanoi to BaBe national park. Arrive in BacCan town for lunch. After lunch drive further into the national park. Check into BaBe hotel which is located right in the middle of the forest. Overnight in BaBe.

  BaBe  is a relatively untouched area boasting waterfalls , rivers, lakes, valleys and caves set amid towering mountain peaks.  The area is inhabited by members of the Zao, Tay ethnic minorities.

Day2:BaBe Lake (B)

Have full day for the excursion on BaBe lake. During the cruise on the lake, we will visit the limestone cave of Puong which is 300 metres long, or having a fresh swim in the crystal clear water, or having 1 hour trek to a Tay village. We will have lunch in a thatched-hut food stall. The food is nothing special but the atmosphere is just great. After lunch we'll cruise back to our hotel. Free time for a walk before dinner. Overnight in BaBe hotel.

Day3: BaBe-CaoBang-PacPo (B)

Drive (6 hours) 179 km from BaBe to Pacbo. Visit Pacbo cave where HoChiMinh came back to the country after many years living abroad, and where he started a revolution against the French. Drive back 60 km back to CaoBang and overnight in CaoBang town.

Day4: CaoBang-BanGioc Waterfall (B)

BanGioc waterfall. CaoBang, Vietnam offers sightseeing tours to travelers from tour operators

Drive 4 hours(136km) to BanGioc magnificent waterfall. Visit the beautiful hill tribe villages by the road. Drive back to CaoBang for the night.

Day5:CaoBang-LangSon (B)

Drive 132 km( 4 hours) from CaoBang to LangSon. On the way stop at DongKhe and ThatKhe for sightseeing, visiting NhiThanh and TamThanh caves. Overnight in LangSon town.

Day6:LangSon-Hanoi (B)

Drive 150 km(3 hours) from LangSon town to Hanoi finishing the tour.
