VIETNAM ESSENTIAL HIGHLIGHTS

Day1: Arrive in Hanoi 

Paradissa Travel tour guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.  Overnight in Hanoi.

Day2: Hanoi-Halong Bay(by car)

After breakfast, we drive to the wonder of Halong Bay. The drive is 3.5 hours through the heart of the Red river Delta, passing through the huge rice paddy field in the North of Vietnam. At half way, we'll take a break at a handicraft village for stretching our legs and for testing the beautiful handicrafts of Vietnam. Upon arrival, we board our private boat for 5 hour cruise passing through many green limestone mountains on the emerald water of Halong bay which now listed as a world heritage site. During the cruise, we will visit some magnificent caves and enjoy the fresh local seafood. Overnight in Halong city.(B,L)

Day3: Halong-HaiPhong-Hanoi (by car)

 After breakfast, we will drive back to Hanoi via Haiphong city. It takes us 2 hours from Halong to Haiphong city, on the way we will have to take 2 ferry rides. In Haiphong we will have a visit to a famous Buddhist Pagoda, have a walk around the French quarter and the flower market. After lunch in Haiphong, we will drive 106 km ( 1.5 hour) back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi. (B,L)

Day4: Hanoi-City tour ( by car)

Today you have full day exploring the 1000 year old city of Hanoi. we will start with HoChiMinh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, HoChiMinh Museum, One pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature-Or The First University of Vietnam, Ngoc Son Temple, QuanThanh Temple, TranQuoc Pagoda. We finish the city tour with 1 hour- cyclo trip around the Old Quarter of Hanoi once known as "the 36 streets of 36 commodities". In the evening the guide will take you out for the unique water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi. (B)

Day5: Hanoi-Hue ( by airplane)

 You have free time relaxing and shopping in Hanoi. At 10:30 A.M  our car and guide transfer you to NoiBai airport for the 12:25 P.M flight to Hue-the imperial city-the capital of Vietnam from 1802-1945. Upon arrival( at around 13:40 P.M), your local tour guide will escort you to your hotel. After refreshment, we will go out for the visit to the former citadel, the only citadel left in South East Asia. Overnight in Hue. (B)

Day6: Hue ( by boat and car)

After breakfast, we will go out for the cruise on the romantic Perfumeriver, which flows through the heart of this evergreen city. The cruise takes us to The ThienMu Buddhist Pagoda, king MinhMang's tomb or king TuDuc's tomb. Your car will take you back to the city from MinhMang tomb or TuDuc Tomb. Overnight in Hue. (B)

Day7: Hue-HoiAn( by car)

Today we drive to HoiAn riverside town once a famous international trading port, now listed as a World Heritage site. On the way we will take a break at the foot of the Marble Mountain visiting the stone-carving village and the once famous China Beach. Upon arrival we will take a walking tour around the ancient town of HoiAn, visiting some old houses of the merchants in the past. After the walk we'll have time for testing the fine silk of this region. Overnight in HoiAn(B)

Day8: HoiAn-MySon-HoiAn( by car)

This morning we will take you to MySon-The Holy land of the extinct civilization which blossomed from the 2nd to the 15th century. The Hindu-like temples will take you back to  heyday of  the Champa kingdom. We drive back to HoiAn Town after the trip. Overnight in HoiAn.(B)

Day9: HoiAn-Saigon ( by airplane)

Today you have full day relaxing in HoiAn. Either shopping in the ancient town, or go swimming on CuaDai beach could be your option for today.( Please remember to check out of your hotel at 12.00.)

    At 16.00 p.m, our car pick you up and transer you to Danang airport for the 18.00 p.m flight to Saigon. You arrive at around 19.50. Our car with guide will welcome and escort you to your hotel. You have free time in the evening for a walk around the most vibrant city of Vietnam. Overnight in Saigon. (B)

Day10: HoChiMinh City-CuChi-TayNinh-HoChiMinh City (by car)

After breakfast we drive 2 hours( 70 km) to Cuchi-the  famous tunnels during theWar. You'll have a chance of understanding more about the war and experiencing life underground in wartime. After the tunnels we drive 2 hours more to the CaoDai Great Temple in TayNinh for the mass which takes place at noon time. Then we drive back to HoChiMinh city. In the evening, you'll have free time at leisure. Overnight in Saigon. (B)

Day11: HoChiMinh city tour( by car)

 Today we have 4 hours for the city tour of Saigon, of which the highlights are War Remnants Museum, The Cathedral, the General Post Office, The municipal theatre and the central Market, Binhtay market and the China town. In the afternoon, you'll have time for your last shopping. Overnight in Saigon. (B)

Day12:Departure

Your guide will escort you to TanSanNhat international airport. It's time to bid farewell to this beautiful country with the beautifully friendly people and time to say goodbye to your fantastic holidays. (B)
