Lao National Museum in Luang Prabang

In the morning, we'll visit the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum and Vat Xieng Thong Temple.

In the afternoon, we'll visit the impressive Kuang Si Waterfall, southwest of Luang Phabang with stops en-route to visit some ethnic minority villages. It is possible to walk to the top of the fall via a steep track and if the weather is good and swim in the clear water at the foot of the fall. Return to Luang Phabang and continue to Ban Phanom, a village specializing in the production of silk and cotton. The entire village is dedicated to the textile production and weaving and there are many bargains to be had among the stalls selling clothings, bags, scarves and tapestries. The tour concludes at your hotel later in the afternoon.
