Dear Anh,

I want to let you know I arrived in Sapa. I had a great drive leaving Mu Cang Chai @. 8:15.
We did not stop @ Nga Ba Kim. But we did stop on the way.

I saw rice terraces that I saw yesterday on top of the hill, today up close. What a discovery. It was quite interesting to see about same rice terraces at 2 different distances: one from high up, one at the eye level.

We continued on the way. Rice fields got down to lower elevation. Then there were tea plantations again. What an interesting mix of tea plantations and rice fields from place to place, province to province.

It was a very long drive. We passed deo O Quy Ho and Cong Troi when it rained. I enjoyed the ride and appreciated very much Anh Hung’s drive and Paradissa to let me off in Sapa.

I do not regret skipping 4-hour trek this morning. Otherwise I would not be able to sit here outside of my bungalow right on rice field watching harvesting in day light. I am getting closer and closer to rice terraces.

Thank you so much Anh for all your great help for almost 2 weeks. I had an unforgettable trip in Mu Cang Chai.
