Adventure Vacation in the Central Highlands of Vietnam Overview
The Central Highlands of Vietnam is known as home to different ethnic minorities, for the fresh nature and temperate climate and the sublime waterfalls. Leaving Ho Chi Minh City or Sai Gon every Saturday afternoon, we will start our tour in Da Lat – the City of Love, then continue to the serene Lak Lake and learn about the life of the Mnong People from the back of the elephants. We will have a full day tour of Buon Ma Thuot and the waterfalls around the homeland of Vietnam's best coffee. We will have a complete exploration of the natural beauty and cultural life of the ethnic people who live around Pleiku and Kontum.
We will conclude the tour at Pleiku where you can proceed to Da Nang or back to Sai Gon. The tour makes it convenient for the traveller to combine with the travel in other areas of Vietnam.
The pace of the tour is easy and accommodation on the trip is of 3-4 star standards, conveniently located in town. Most breakfasts and lunches are included, while dinners are for self-discovery of the local cuisine.

Detailed itinerary
Day1 (Saturday) Sai Gon – Da Lat (VN 466: 1450-1740) (no guide at Sai Gon, no meal)
Paradissa Travel driver picks you up from your hotel and transfers you to Sai Gon Airport for the flight to Da Lat. Arriving at Da Lat, welcomed by our tour guide and driver and transferred to the hotel. Free at leisure.
Overnight in Da Lat.
Day2 (Sunday) Da Lat (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Our morning tour is for sightseeing at the mountain of Lang Biang which offers stunning view of Da Lat and the green surroundings. Then we will travel to the valley of Love to take in the romantic landscape of the fresh nature. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy a trip by cable car to Tuyen Lam Lake and the Pagoda of Thien Vien Truc Lam. Then we will ride on one of the oldest train in the world with a steamer locomotive to Trai Mat. The train trip offers breathtaking breathtaking scene of terraces. Traveling back to the city, we will visit Da Lat Teacher Training College with amazing architecture and visit Bao Dai Summer Palace. Free time for the rest of the day.

Day3 (Monday) Da Lat – Lak Lake Elephant Riding – Buon Ma Thuot (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30 A.M Leaving Da Lat, we will travel our way through the heart of the evergreen Central Highlands with pine forests, coffee plantations, pepper plantations and tea plantations to Lak Lake. Arriving at Lak Lake in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a trip on the serene Lak Lake in dug-out canoe and an elephant ride to visit villages of the Mnong People. Then our journey takes us further to Buon Ma Thuot City.

Day4 (Tuesday) Buon Ma Thuot Dray Sap, Dray Nur & Gia Long Waterfalls – Buon Ma Thuot (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today, we will have nearly a full day tour for exploring the sublime waterfalls around Buon Ma Thuot: Dray Sap, Dray Nur and Gia Long. Have picnic lunch amid fresh nature of Dray Nur. Travel back to town and have free time.
Overnight at Buon Ma Thuot.

Day5 (Wednesday) Buon Ma Thuot – Pleiku Ethnic Villages with gong ceremony – Pleiku (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Travel further into the seldom visited area of the Central Highlands to Pleiku. Lunch at Pleiku.
In the afternoon, take a soft adventure tour to the local Bahnar ethnic villages: Dektu - Deron – Dedoa – Dekop and enjoy a traditional performance by the local ethnic people.
Free time for the rest of the day.

Day6 (Thursday) Pleiku – Kontum – Pleiku (B/L) 
Breakfast at the hotel.
Travel to Plei Phun Village to learn about the Jarai People and their culture. Then we will journey further to Kon Tum Town for a tour of the Orphanage Village of Vinh Son and the wooden catholic church. Lunch at Kon Tum.
Day7 (Friday ) Depart Pleiku (for either Sai Gon or Da Nang, airfare included, no guide) (B)
