Detailed itinerary

0800 A.M Our tour guide and driver pick you up from your hotel and we travel to the Co Loa Ancient Citadel dating back from the 3rd century B.C. At Co Loa, we’ll learn about the Spiral Citadel (Co Loa) by studying the vestiges left, the archaeological artefacts, and the related legends.

Then we travel 60km further to visit Hung Kings’ Temple in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho. On arrival, you may like to have a lunch break before we visit the temple.

Here, you’ll learn about the Hung Kings and their Van Lang Kingdom which date back to before 3rd century B.C. The Kingdom was the first Viet-identity kingdom that was known in the history of the Viet people. Visiting the site you’ll understand the origin of the Vietnamese, their hard history in the early times.

At the temple, we’ll also recall an amazing uprising of the Vietnamese against the Chinese rule led by two ladies - Trung Sisters in 40-43 A.D which started from this same land and spread all over the country. We’ll get more understanding of the Vietnamese women’s role in the history and their status in the society nowadays.
