Trekking Tour Ba Be National Park Overview

Mountain trail on the trek at Ba BeBa Be National Park includes Ba Be Lake in the center and a system of towering mountains covered in dense forest. Perched on the mountains and nestled in the forest are numerous ethnic communities whose livelihoods are mainly based on forestry and agriculture. The trekking tour of Ba Be National Park is an adventure from the buffer zone to the core zone of Ba Be National Park for 3 days 2 nights.

On the tour we have to trek uphill and downhill through ethnic villages and forests. After the trek, we have a relaxing cruise on the serene water of Ba Be Lake. Our accommodations are at Tay families with very basic condition. The trip could be done all year round, but the best time is from December through April.

Day1 Ha Noi – Cho Ra Town - Ban Tau - Cam Thuong – Dau Dang (2 hours trekking) (L/D)
Day2 Dau Dang – Dan May – Coc Toc – Pac Ngoi (8-9 hours trekking) (B/L/D)

Detailed itinerary

Day1 Ha Noi – Cho Ra Township - Ban Tau - Cam Thuong – Dau Dang (2 hours trekking) (Ba Be National Park) (L/D) 

0730 A.M Our adventure tour guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi for the journey to Bac Kan Province. Arriving at Bac Kan Town, we have lunch. Then, continue our road trip through the mountains of Bac Kan to Puoc Lom Pier (near Cho Ra Township) where we start a cruise on the Nang River to visit Puong Cave for 30 minutes.

Then our car takes us uphill to Cam Thuong Village where we start the trek downhill for 2 hours to Cam Ha Village. From Cam Ha, we take a boat trip on the Nang River for 40 minutes to Dau Dang Village by the lake of Ba Be.

Day2 Dau Dang – Dan May – Coc Toc – Pac Ngoi (8-9 hours trekking) (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the home. Have full day ( 8-9 hours) trekking through the core zone of Ba Be National Park to Pac Ngoi Village. The hike today is hard and long, most of the time we will be trekking through forest. Lunch en route.
Dinner and overnight at the Pac Ngoi village in a house-on-stilts.

Day3 Pac Ngoi - Ba Be Lake Boat Trip – Ha Noi (B/L) 

Breakfast at the home. 
Enjoy the morning boat trip of 3 hours on the serene water of Ba Be Lake. 
Lunch at the homestay.
