TRAINS

 Primitive, cheap, bumpy, amazingly slow, the train in Cambodia is famous for making unscheduled stops due to technical problems and recommended for try of a short distance only. The whole rail network is about 645 km consisting of 02 lines (distances are from Phnom Penh):

The northwestern line: Phnom Penh-Pursat (165 km)-Battambang (274km)-Sisophon (302 km)

The southwestern line: Phnom Penh-Takeo (75 km)-Kep (156 km)-Kampot (166 km)-Sihanoukville (228 km)
