The tour brings you to visit the off-the-mainstream communities who live their live on the other side of the mountains of Sapa. The trekking tour brings you beyond the mountains of Sa Pa Town to the communities where time is dictated by cock crow, by pig screams and the music of jungles. This region offers breathtaking scenery and is home to many hill tribe communities who still maintain their customs and traditions for centuries. The adventure tour involves trekking, hiking, homestaying, culture-exchanging, nature-touring. The pace is hard adventure, the accommodation is very rustic. The highlights of the adventure is to get lost amond the fresh and stunning nature, to share the warmth with the local ethnic family and to conquer all the physical challenges.
We board the overnight train which belches out black smoke rocking its way to the North West of Vietnam. We have air-conditioned soft-sleepers in 4-6 sleeper cabins. We trek through the jungles and rice terraces. We experience exotic homestaying. We get lost in the jungles...All will be much appreciated after we get back home. This is no doubt an adventure of a life time!

BEYOND THE MOUNTAINS OF SAPA
Day 1: Hanoi Night Train for Lao Cai
We have free time on our own in Hanoi then meet our tour guide at your hotel for the transfer to the train station. We we board the overnight train for Lao Cai. Overnight on board the train.
Day 2: Arrive in Lao Cai. Lao Cai – Sapa
Arriving at Lao Cai in the early morning, you can sip the hot coffee and enjoy the view of China on the other side of the Red River. From Lao Cai the road winds up the terraced hillsides to Sapa, which offers the stunning mountain views of the North West of Vietnam.
We travel to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the morning free at leisure. In the afternoon, we'll enjoy a walking, trekking and hiking tour to the Cat Cat Waterfall and Cat Cat Village which is home to the Black H'Mong people. The fresh nature offers stunning atmosphere and beauty. Overnight in Sapa Town.
Day 3: Sapa - Sin Chai (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Travel to Su Pan by Russian Jeep. Continue our tour on foot from here through the beautiful mountain scenery of terraced rice fields tended by colourfully-dressed local minority farmers.
Lunch is at a Tay house at a Tay minority village of Thanh Phu. After lunch trek up to an altitude of over 1000m before arriving at the isolated and seldom visited village of Sin Chai. Our local adventure tour guide prepares a hot dinner for us. Then we’ll share the cozy experience exchanging culture around the fire with the family. Overnight at Sin Chai.
Day 4: Sin Chai - Ban Ho (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we have six hour trekking to Ban Ho, a Tay Village, which is located by a stream in the center of a breathtaking valley. Overnight at Ban Ho.
Day 5: Ban Ho - Sapa (B/L)
We start our hiking to Su Pan where the jeep is waiting for the trip back to Sapa. Travel back to Sapa and enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure. In late afternoon, travel back to the train station for the overnight train bound for Hanoi. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 6: Sapa - Hanoi
Arriving at Hanoi, transferred to the hotel.
