Population:  132,873 people (as of 1999)

Locality:  The Cham live scatteredly in Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Ninh Thuan,An Giang, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.

Customs and culture
The Cham follow Islam and Hinduism. Their society tends to be matriarchal. The man would move in and  live with his wife family.

Language: The Cham language belongs to the Austronesian Group.

Dress:  The Cham has adopted modern clothes.
 
Economy:
The Cham has advanced techniques for agriculture in submerged fields. Besides the Cham have developed advanced skills for construction and ceramics.
