Customs and culture
The Hoa have very close ties among themselves. They help each other in their daily life and business.
Family is important among the Hoa. The husband/father is the head of the family, however the wife/mother has an important role too.
The Hoa have a number of festivals and celebrations throughout the year. They practise Buddhism, Catholicism, Taoism, Confucianism, Animism...Red color is considered to bring good luck and is used to decorate almost everything.

Language: The Hoa Language belongs to the Sino-Tibetan Group.  

Dress:  Hoa men wear trousers, women wear trousers or skirts.
 
Economy: The Hoa practice a wide variety of ccupations such as agriculture, trade...The Hoa is especially good at trading.
