LAOS DISCOVERY
Laos Discovery is designed for our adventure travellers to explore the chaste beauty of Laos in 12 days/11 nights. We'll start from the charming capital city of Vientiane, explore the southern area of the country with scenic natural beauty, enjoy the mysterious Plain of Jars and have leisure time on our own in the Royal Capital of Luang Prabang. Accommodation for the tour is standard and adventure due to local conditions. Laos Discovery is the choice of those who would like to adventure through the fresh nature and the colorful culture of Laos.

LAOS DISCOVERY
Day 1: Arrive in Vientiane
Arriving in Vientiane, you'll meet your guide and have a transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, have a city tour visiting Vat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, Vat Prakeo, Vat Simuang, the That Luang Monument and Vientiane’s Arc de Triomphe, the Patouxai Monument. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day2 Vientiane (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Tour of the Budda Park and the moring market. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy free time at leisure strolling around this peaceful capital city. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day3 Vientiane – Pakse – Khong Island (flight) (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Our driver and tour guide come back and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Pakse. Arriving at Pakse, met by our local tour guide and transferred to the pier for a 1-hour cruise to Champasak where we rejoin our car for a visit to Wat Phou – the legacy of the Khmer Empire between 9th –13th centuries. Then we'll travel by car and by local ferry to reach our hotel on the Khong Island. Overnight on Khong Island.
Day4 Khong Island – Done Khone Island – Khong Island (Boat) (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Embark our boat and cruise downstream for 1 hour to Done Khone Island characterized by coconut trees and flame trees. The cruise offer spectacular scenes of riparian life. We'll have a walking tour of Done Khone Island and enjoy our lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we'll cruise further to reach our car and drive to Khon Pha Pheng Waterfall claimed the best one in Laos. Then our car takes us back to the hotel. Overnight on Khong Island.
Day5 Khong Island – Boloven Plateau – Pakse (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
We continue our journey through Boloven plateau where famous tea and coffee plantations are found. We'll have some opportunities to explore Boloven plateau and visit some hill villages of the Katu, Alak and Ngea. We'll arrive back in Pakse in the afternoon. Overnight in Pakse.
Day6 Pakse – Vientiane (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
You have time at leisure until we transfer you back to the airport for the flight to Vientiane. Met by our local tour guide at Vientiane Airport and transferred to the hotel. You have free time at leisure for the remainder of the day. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day7 Vientiane – Xieng Khouang (flight) (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transferred to the airport to Xieng Khouang. Arriving at Phonsavanh, Xieng Khouang, you'll be met by our local tour guide and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight in Xieng Khouang.
Day8 Xieng Khouang (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Our morning is for the tour of the Plain of Jars. In the afternoon, we'll explore Muang Khoune – the ancient capital of Xieng Khouang. Then we'll visit the war-damaged Temple of Wat Phia. Overnight in Xieng Khouang.
Day9 Xieng Khouang – Luang Prabang (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
We'll have full day travelling along the scenic road to Luang Prabang, Laos Former Royal Capiltal. Arriving at our hotel, we'll check in and enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day10 Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave – Luang Prabbang (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
We'll visit the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum, Vat Xieng Thong, Vat Sen, Vat Visun and Mount Phousi with the panoramic view of this countryside city. you have time for refreshment after this.
In the afternoon, have a boat trip on the fresh Mekong River to visit the Pilgrimage Pak Ou Caves with thousands of lacquered Buddha statues crammed into the two caves on the riverbank. On the cruise back, we'll visit a riverside village where rice wine is produced where you can tastes the local spirit. Overnight in Luang Phabang.
Day11 Luang Prabang free at leisure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy full day free at leisure to soak in the leisure pace of life of the World Heritage Site of Luang Phabang. Overnight in Luang Phabang.
Day12 Depart Luang Phabang (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
You enjoy free time until our driver comes back and transfers you to the airport for your departure flight.
