The Green Rice Paddies of the North is a 2 days/1 night sightseeing tour bringing our travellers to one of the most scenic areas of the Red River Delta, Ninh Binh. We’ll enjoy a sampan and a motorboat on the local rivers to explore the Thung Nang (The Sunshined Valley) and the fresh Kenh Ga area.
The tour pace is easy and relaxing; the tour accommodation is of 2 star standard. The Green Rice Paddies of the North is for the travellers to get away from the crowd and visit the authentic life style in the countryside of northern Vietnam.

THE GREEN RICE PADDIES OF THE NORTH
Day1 Ha Noi - Hoa Lu - Thung Nang - Ninh Binh (L)
In the morning, we drive 130 km (2 hours) from Ha Noi to Ninh Binh. Arriving at Hoa Lu, we’ll tour the 02 temples dedicated to the 02 royal families of Vietnam back in the 10th century and enjoy a walking tour amid the karst formations to discover the site of the former capital.
Then we continue onto Tam Coc for a 2-hour sampan trip amid rice paddies to explore the unreal scenery of karst formations at Thung Nang Valley. Our lunch is at Tam Coc Town. Then we travel back to Ninh Binh and enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight in Ninh Binh town.
Day2 Ninh Binh - Kenh Ga - Van Long - Ha Noi (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, we’ll travel to Kenh Ga where we embark on a motorboat for a cruise through the scenic countryside. Here the authentic countryside life of the farmers along the river flanked by ranges of rock mountains and rice paddies is revealed. After the cruise, we’ll travel further to Van Long for lunch. After lunch we’ll join our car and travel back to Ha Noi.
