Overview

Tour the North East of Vietnam is one of our Vietnam adventure tours for 3days/2 nights into the less-traveled region of the country. The trip is a quick getaway from Hanoi and  designed for the travelers who have a short time in northern Vietnam and would like to have an adventure experience in the the far northern mountains of the country.

Starting in Hanoi, we travel our way to Lang Son border town, then follow the historic Road 4 to Cao Bang, have a tour amid the wild nature to Ban Gioc Waterfall, Nguom Ngao Cave and have some relaxing time in the fresh national park of Ba Be...

The pace of travel is moderate, though being an adventure tour, Tour the North East of Vietnam doesn't have much physical challenge. It's just that accommodations are of basic facilities and food is just simple. The reward of the journey is the fresh nature of the north eastern region of Vietnam and the authentic untouched ethnic culture. On the trip, you will be far from the tourist trails...

Day-to-day itinerary
Day1    Ha Noi – Lang Son - Cao Bang (L)
Day2    Cao Bang – Ban Gioc – Pac Ngoi Village (Tay People) (B/L/D)
Day3    Pac Ngoi - Ba Be National Park – Cho Ra – Ha Noi (B/L)

Itinerary



Day1    Ha Noi – Lang Son - Cao Bang (L)
Leaving Ha Noi in the morning, we travel our way to Lang Son border town. At Lang Son, we visit Nhi Thanh, Tam Thanh Cave and the Ky Lua Market. Then follow the historic Road No.4 to Cao Bang. The road offers stunning scenes of mountains and ethnic life, the road brings us back to the famous battles during the Franco-Viet Minh War.  Arriving at Cao Bang in late afternoon, have time to wander around the town.
Lunch at a local restaurant and dinner is on our own.
Overnight in Cao Bang.

Day2    Cao Bang – Ban Gioc – Pac Ngoi Village (Tay People) (B/L/D)
0800 A.M: Travel along the scenic road to Ban Gioc Waterfall. We'll hav myriad stops along the way to adore the fresh nature beauty and learn about the life of the local Tay and Nung Peoples. We'll also stop for sightseeing at Ma Phuc Pass and Khau Lieu Pass which overs spectacular view of the surrounding nature. Visit Ban Gioc Waterfall and have time for picnic lunch.

After a short rest at Ban Gioc, visit Nguom Ngao Cave and travel all the way back to Ba Be National Park. We'll arrive at Pac Ngoi Village which is home to the Tay People and you'll have free time wandering around the communities living by the lake. Free time to wander around the community in late afternoon.

Day3    Pac Ngoi - Ba Be National Park – Cho Ra – Ha Noi (B/L)
Breakfast with the family.
Enjoy a scenic boat ride on the the Three Lakes of Ba Be National Park and into the Nang River and visit the Puong Cave. Have some time wander amid the Tay communities inhabiting in the park and visit Dau Dang Waterfall.  Have lunch at Cam Ha Village (Tay People). Then, enjoy a boat trip to Puoc Nom where we continue our road trip back to Ha Noi. We trust you had a wonderful adventure holiday in the untouched North East of Vietnam with Paradissa Travel.
