Hang Mua is a complex of 4 hectares of which the main attraction is the Mua Mountain which is 150m high. There are nearly 500 steps for us to climb to the top of the mountain from where we can have panoramic views of Ninh Binh countryside including Tam Coc.

Best time to visit

Hang Mua offers breathtaking views of the surrounding heavenly landscape of rice fields, limestone mountains, rivers, valleys… It is always beautiful to adore the nature from the top of the Mua Mountain. But the best time to visit Hang Mua is in late May and early June or late September when the rice fields turn into yellow golden colors which makes your photos shine!

1/ Hiking/Trekking/Walking

To get to the top of Hang Mua we have to climb the nearly 500 stone steps. The area around Hang Mua is idyllic and we can have a walking or hiking tour after adoring the landscape from the mountain top.

2/ Travel Photography

From the top of Hang Mua, there are several angles to take photos of the stunning countryside. The best photos are of the dazzling photos of the golden rice fields at Tam Coc.

3/ Bicycle Tours

The area around the Thung Nham Bird Valley, Bich Dong Pagoda, Thung Nang Valley, Tam Coc and Hang Mua is very idyllic and you can have a great bicycle trip in this area for a couple of days.
