Phu Yen has many mountains and sugarly white sand beaches. There are high peaks of over 1,000m in elevation which are good for hiking. The white sand beaches run almost the full length of the province are ideal for the beach travellers. There are systems of fishing facilities at the sea of Phu Yen and at the many lakes in the province which ensures the plentiful seafood at Phu Yen. Still, there is lack of infrastructure for tourism that there are not many travellers who spend their holidays in Phu Yen yet.
