Can Tho is the capital city of the Mekong Delta of Vietnam with an area of 2,965 square km and a population of 1,820 people (2004).

Dien Bien Phu is the capital city of Dien Bien Province in the Northwest of Vietnam. Dien Bien Phu was the combat site of the Dien Bien Phu Battle which helped to change the course of the World History in the 20th century.

Dong Nai Province is located to the northeast of South Vietnam, bordered to the northwest by Binh Phuoc, to the north and northeast by Lam Dong, to the east by Binh Thuan, to the south by Ba Ria Vung Tau, to the west by Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong. The provincial capital is Bien Hoa City.

Dong Thap Province is located to the north of the Mekong Delta, in southern Vietnam. The province shares border with Cambodia to the north, with Long An to the east, with Tien Giang and Vinh Long to the south-east, with Can Tho to the south-west, and with An Giang to the west.
