Tam Coc - Ninh Binh

Tam Coc is 7 km from Ninh Binh City and Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Tam Coc is a flooded area with towering mountains jutting out of green rice paddies.

Tam Thanh Cave - Lang Son

Tam Thanh Cave is the biggest cave in Lang Son City, next to the To Thi Mountain, 2km from the city center. The cave is 400m long and has openings to both sides of the mountain. There are different sections inside the cave, the outer one is home to the Tam Thanh Pagoda. A trip to the Tam Thanh Cave combined with the To Thi Mountain could take 2-3 hours easily.

Nguom Ngao Cave - Cao Bang

Nguom Ngao Cave is in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province. Nguom Ngao Cave is 89 km from Cao Bang Town and 3 km from Ban Gioc Waterfall, the cave is in a limestone mountain range and has most parts underground and some parts under water.

Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park - Quang Binh

Phong Nha - Ke Bang of Quang Ninh, Bo Trach and Minh Hoa Districts, Quang Binh Province was set aside as a national park in 2001. The national park, which has 85,754 hectares of a core zone  (with strictly protected zone of 64,894 ha; ecological recovery zone of 17,449 ha and administrative service zone of 3,411 ha) and 195,400 hectares of buffer zone, is 50km north-west of Dong Hoi Provincial Capital of Quang Binh and 500km south of Ha Noi. Recently there are flights between Ha Noi and Dong Hoi which may facilitate more tourism in the area.

Ba Vi National Park - Ha Tay

Ba Vi National Park is 60km from Ha Noi. It'd take you 40 minutes to leave the heavy traffic of Ha Noi behind then starts the idyllic scenery of the countryside. For the next 1 hour or so, you'll travel amid mountains and resort areas catering mostly to the Vietnamese tourists who just want to get away from the summer heat of Ha Noi.  

Tam Dao - Vinh Phuc

Tam Dao Hill Station is perched on the slope of Tam Dao Mountain Range, in Vinh Phuc Province, in the North West of Vietnam. The town has an average elevation of over 1,000m above sea level and is cool all year round. Besides, Tam Dao Town is part of Tam Dao National Park which has the total area of  36,883 hectares and which is covered mostly by tropical forests.

Ba Be National Park - Bac Kan

Ba Be National Park is 230km north east of Ha Nanoi. The whole area is of towering limestone mountains with evergreen forests alternated by flat low land. The elevation is from 150m to 1098m above sea level.  

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Cao Bang

Ban Gioc Waterfall is 92km from Cao Bang Town, right on the border between Vietnam and China. The waterfall includes layers of moss and water falling down from tens of meter above. The road trip from Cao Bang to Ban Gioc offers captivating scenery.

Cuc Phuong National Park - Ninh Binh

Consecrated in 1962, Cuc Phuong is the oldest national park in Vietnam. Cuc Phuong, 120km south of Ha Noi and under the administration of Ninh Binh Province authority, spreads its land area of 22,200 hectares into the territory of Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Hoa Binh Provinces.
