Paradissa Stops Elephant Riding Tours in Dak Lak Vietnam From November 2022
Country: Vietnam

In November 2022 the People’s Committee of Dak Lak Province has approved the project for stopping elephant riding tours and for offering elephant-friendly tourism. The project is to be completed in 2022-November through 2026-December.

According to statistics by Dak Lak Center for Conservation of Elephants, there are 140 elephants in the province nowadays and this number is only 1/10 compared to 1980. Keep in mind that Vietnam had a very destructive war with lots of fierce battles and bombardments in the Central Highlands for decades between 1946-1975. And from 1980 till now Vietnam has been in peace!

Paradissa has a few tours in Dak Lak Province of Vietnam which are involved in elephant riding. By this announcement we would like to inform our travelers, partnered travel agencies and tour operators that Paradissa no longer has elephant riding tours in Vietnam from November 2022.

All elephant riding tours on our website are to be replaced by more creative itineraries which are more environmentally friendly, animal-friendly and for better life of local communities in the long terms! We trust our travelers and partnered travel agencies understand and support us for responsible travel and for a Better World in a sustainable manner!
