Gia Lai is located in the centre of the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The draw-card of local tourism is the former battlefields in the Vietnam War, the most famous of which is the Ia Drang Valley. Besides, the land has a temperate climate and is home to a number of ethnic minorities that could be of interest to some travellers.
