Ha Giang is the northernmost province of Vietnam. The capital city is Ha Giang City, 312km from Hanoi. Due to poor roads and tightening security conditions in the past, Ha Giang was not open to foreign tourists until recently. Ha Giang is among the few places in Vietnam that are untouched by mass tourism. In fact, the area is not on the itinerary of most travellers (including the adventure travellers) to Vietnam. And Ha Giang is not visited frequently by Vietnamese tourists either.

Paradissa team has had just so many expeditions into the different districts of Ha Giang Province. The photos in this article were taken on a trip at the end of the dry season. During the time, the trees wither and the whole province gets on it the typical gray color which makes it more memorable...
