Quy Nhon is the capital city of Binh Dinh Province. The city is known to the travellers as having pristine strips of fine sandy beaches. The vicinity also offers ruins of the Cham Culture which existed in Central and South Central Region of Vietnam from 2nd century through the 15th century.

Quy Nhon has a tropical monsoon climate with two seasons: the dry season from February through August and the rainy season from September to January. 1/ Ghenh Rang Hill

Ghenh Rang Hill is located just to the south of Quy Nhon City with breathtaking view of the city and the sea of Quy Nhon. This is where you can get the best photographs of Quy Nhon at night.

On the Ghenh Rang Hill, there is the tomb of a great Vietnamese poet, Han Mac Tu.

Below the Ghenh Rang Hill is the Hoang Hau Beach (Queen Beach) with smooth rubble. The beach was reserved for Queen Nam Phuong Hoang Hau (King Bao Dai’s wife) and hence the name Hoang Hau Beach.

2/ Thi Nai Lagoon and the Thi Nai Bridge (7km long)

The lagoon and bridge are good places for having a walk at night.

3/ Cham Twin Towers

The towers are what remain of once amazing Cham civilization in the Central Coast of Vietnam. The towers were built in the XII century. The north and south towers are 20m and 18m high respectively.

4/ Banh It Cham Ruin

The ruin is near Route 1A, in Tuy Phuoc District, 18km north of Quy Nhon City. The style of the tower was of latter Cham architecture.

5/ Eo Gio (Windy Bay)

The site is an arc-shape low hill which forms a rugged cliff along the coast 20km northeast of Quy Nhon city center. There are deserted beaches and several bird nets at Eo Gio.

6/ Ky Co

The site is another amazing place 5km northeast of Eo Gio with deserted beaches and low hills.

7/ Hon Kho

The site is 16km east of Quy Nhon City. The place can be reached by passing the Thi Nai Bridge from Quy Nhon City then turn right. Hon Kho is the tip of the Phuong Mai Peninsula just each of Quy Nhon City. At Hon Kho you can go snorkeling or boating around.

8/ Hai Minh Fishing Village

There is the Hai Minh Fishing Village on the Phuong Mai Peninsula that you can have a peep into their vivid daily life.

9/ Cu Lao Xanh Island

The island is an isolated paradise surrounded by turquoise blue sea. The island is 24km off the coast to the southeast of Quy Nhon City. There are daily boats between the island and Quy Nhon City from Quy Nhon Port.
