Our military historical tour starts in Hanoi visiting sites of the very first major battles of the First Indochina War. Hanoi was also where the Viet Minh's troops returned after the Geneva Accord marking the end of this war, and the end of nearly a century of French's rule of Vietnam and Indochina.

From Hanoi, we follow the course of the war to the Northeast and Northwest of Vietnam to recall the major battles back in time. The historical timeline, the order of the battles, the development of each battle, the strategies and tactics...are gradually disclosed by our history guide.
