What to See, Things to Do

1/ Rice Terraces, Dried Rice of Tu Le

Every year when summer rain pours down water onto the wild mountains in the Northwest of Vietnam, the local Thai and Hmong farmers at Tu Le get busy for a new crop of rice. The rice terraces are to be flooded for a while before ready for a new crop. It is one of a beautiful times to visit the Tu Le Valley for shiny photos of the breathtaking landscape.

This is when mountain sides, the Tu Le Valleys, the rice terraces all turn into dazzling golden colors! Visiting Tu Le during this period, you can adore the freshness and sweetness of the Com of Tu Le (young dried rice of Tu Le) which is a great combination with bananas!
