Tam Dao Nature Tour is an eco-adventure to get emerged in the wild nature of Tam Dao National Park for 2 days, 1 night. The tour is a moderate-hard adventure with a hike on a flat and traffic-free road on an altitude  of over 1,000m above sea level and amid the heavenly landscape of the Tam Dao National Park.

The tour can be done all year round, but the best time is from January through April when it is dry and different types of blossoms are found.

The accommodation ranges from a simple family-run hotel to a mid-range 3* hotel on your choice.

Detailed itinerary

Day1    Hanoi – Tam Dao National Park/Visit of the national park and the township of Tam Dao (B/L/D) 

08:00 A.M Our team picks you up at the hotel and we travel along the paddy fields to Tam Dao. Arriving at Tam Dao national park, we have a walking tour amid the forest of the national park and get introduced to the nature of Tam Dao Mountains and the national park.

Then, continue our car adventure on a steep mountain road to the Tam Dao Hill Station where we stay for the night. Our room may not be available yet until after 14:00 hours.

Lunch in town.

In the afternoon, have a walking tour of the town and visit the Silver Waterfall, take a hike on a slippery path to the Television Tower. There are steps which are covered in moss and which travel through dense forest: be extremely cautious when taking this hike. Alternatively, we can have the remainder of the afternoon exploring Tam Dao Township.

Day2    Hiking Trip to Peak No. 2 of Tam Dao/Tam Dao – Hanoi (B/Picnic Lunch) 

Breakfast at the hotel or at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the point where we start our walking or hiking tour.  We have time to hike for 5-7km back to Tam Dao Township at a leisurely pace.
Picnic lunch at a cafe surrounded by the wilderness.

Arriving back to town at around 1400-1500 hours, meet our car and transfer back to Hanoi. We will arrive back in Hanoi around 17:00-1800 hours.
