Cao Bang, located to the North-East of Vietnam, literally means "High Plains" in Vietnamese. In fact, the terrains of Cao Bang include stretches of flat plains alternated by high mountain ranges. The province is home to a number of ethnic groups, of which most are the Kinh, the Tay and the Nung Peoples.

Cat Tien National Park is 150km from Ho Chi Minh City and 175km from Da Lat. The park covers 71,350 hectares stretching in the provinces of Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Binh Phuoc in southern Vietnam.

Chen Kieu Pagoda is a Khmer-styled pagoda in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang. Chen Kieu Pagoda is 10km from Soc Trang City, on the way from Soc Trang  to Bac Lieu. Chen Kieu Pagoda was first built in the 19th century and rebuilt in 1969.

Chi Lang Passage is located in Chi Lang District, Lang Son Province, near the newly-built highway 1A from Hanoi to Lang Son. The passage is 110km north of Hanoi, 60km south of the Chinese Border and 40km south of Lang Son City.

The rail track between Da Lat and Phan Rang-Thap Cham (Ninh Thuan) was built by the French from 1932 and completed in 1938 to facilitate tourism to Da Lat then. With the ups and downs of history, what left of the old amazing railroad is the rail track between Da Lat and Trai Mat. Visitors to Da Lat, who loves to experience something of the bygone times, want to take this train journey for half an hour to sense something of history.

Dau Go Cave is believed to have been the place where General Tran Hung Dao hid weapons in the war against the invaders in the 13th century A.D. Dau Go Cave is one of the biggest caves of Halong Bay.
