Hoa Lu District of Ninh Binh Province was the capital city of Dai Co Viet (the name of Vietnam in the 10th century A.D) from 968 to 1009, where the Dinh and the early Le Dynasties successively ruled the kingdom from.

The former residence of Hoang A Tuong in Bac Ha (Lao Cai Province) was built from 1914-1921. This was a residence and a working place of the father-son Hoang Yen Tchao and Hoang A Tuong who were chiefs of Bac Ha back that time. The family was of Tay origin but some may still refer to the residence as the Hmong King’s Residence in Bac Ha. The residence has a mixed architecture of French and Chinese styles.

Hoang Hoa Tham Campaign was from 23-March to 28-March-1951 and from 4 to 5-April-1951. During the campaign there were important battles around and at Mao Khe, and it is known as the Battle of Mao Khe to the French. Viet Minh's targets included French positions along Route 17 and 18.

Hoang Su Phi is among the most untouched areas of Ha Giang Province of Vietnam. The district was separated from the mainstream society until very recently. The capital town of Hoang Su Phi District is Vinh Quang Township, 60km from Tan Quang Town and 100km from Ha Giang provincial capital.

The ethnic market at the Vinh Quang Township in Hoang Su Phi District of Ha Giang Province takes place once a week on every Sunday morning. The market is a major gathering of ethnic groups in the region for bartering and socializing.

Hue Imperial Citadel was built from 1805 to 1832 by King Gia Long. The whole citadel is balanced on an axis running from north to south.

The Hung Kings Temple (Den Hung) is a complex of temples first built in the 10th century A.D on the Nghia Linh Mountains, 10km from Viet Tri City (of Phu Tho Province) and 90km from Hanoi. Much of the complex nowadays was constructed in the 15th century. The Temple is dedicated to Hung Kings (Vua Hung), the Founder Kings of Van Lang, the first Vietnamese-identity kingdom dating back to 2879 B.C.

The valley derives its name from the nearby Drang River in Vietnam's Central Highlands, was the site of the first major encounters between U.S Army and the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN).

Khai Dinh Tomb is 10km from Hue City and is among the most interesting tombs of the Nguyen Kings. The construction of Khai Dinh Tomb was started on 4th September, 1920 and works were done only after 11 years. Khai Dinh was the last king of the Nguyen Dynasty to build a tomb for himself.

Khanh Hoa Province is located in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. The province is more known to tourists with the provincial capital - Nha Trang. But, Khanh Hoa has many other destinations that could offer great holiday experiences which are very little known by most travellers to Vietnam.
